Mulberry Silks is an "experience" store - they are very worth the visit to see and touch all of the beautiful fabrics you can't find just anywhere. They are not inexpensive fabrics because the quality is impeccable. This is where you want to shop for fabric for that special project and you definitely want to make a muslin first. The staff is extremely knowledgeable.

Online Fabric Shops
I have ordered many different kinds of fabric from here. Their quality is good and their customer service excellent. Many of the fabrics used in sewing camp came from OFS. They also have a wonderful blog.
I have good luck with knit fabrics here and the owner Corie is very responsive answering questions.

Do you have a shop recommendation?
I advise against purchasing from fabric.com as they have sent me several stained orders. And while I am fault for fully checking the bolt upons receipt (they have a 30 day policy for returns), the staining has been so extensive I just don't feel right recommending them as a resource.
