During introductions at a local business conference, I found myself being greeted by a local realtor. "These are beautiful" she kindly responded as I handed her my business card which shows pictures of my family tree pillows and birth announcement subway art. Her response was sweet and definitely in line with the main tenets of this conference - supporting one another in our small mom-owned businesses. But then she surprised me with a question, "Do you have a design that says something about welcome home?"
All ears - because my best ideas show themselves when I am listening to my customers, I gave an honest reply "I don't, but I would love to come up with something for you." My next step was reaching out to my loyal supporters and ask what they thought said "Welcome to your new home."
Their ideas were amazing - old Irish sayings about bless this home and welcome friends. A simple, straightforward and friendly "Welcome Home." Adding in a little Belinda Lee Designs touch of personalization and color, I want to share a new line of pillows created with the help of my village (Thank you!!!).
