My good friends at DeCocco Drapes are hosting a give away this month and you aren't going to want to miss it.
Here is a Anne's blog post with details on the prize contributors (BLD is on the list!).
I sure do get excited easily, don’t I? And the Paul Revere-type banner really shows my New England roots. Anywho, we’re setting up all the details to launch our very first contest on Facebook and Google+. It’s a fun one with a bundle of prizes that everyone will love. While the elves are working out all the details to put it online, I’m going to tell you about the other businesses that make up the bundle. All great sources that you will be happy to know about!
First on board is Nathan Cole of Designer Drapery Hardware. Our customers always want to know where to buy the rods, rings and brackets that they’ll need to install our fab curtains and we send them straight to this site. Nathan is a really nice guy (this is important to us) and has created an awesome website. He sells a wide range of metal and wood drapery hardware and his prices are excellent!
Next up is BelindaLeeDesigns – another fabulous website, selling all kinds of soft and beautiful items that can be embroidered with whatever you want: monogram, words, pictures. Owner Belinda Briggs is amazing at her sewing and embroidery machines and she’s always brimming with ideas for stylishly covering your smartphones and tablets, having a cool key ring (I LOVE mine) and placing personalized accent pillows in your home. She’s also on Etsy!
Form & Function – I have saved the word “creative” for Carole Marcotte. This whirling dervish runs a design business, Form & Function, that also has a lovely shop in the historic part of Raleigh, selling interesting and artsy items for the home. Her claim to fame is the ability to find some really old, really cool stuff, and transform it (or just clean it up) into something fab to put in your home.
And you know about DeCocco Drapes–we sell the most beautiful custom window treatments that you will ever find online. We provide design help, ship for free and we are smokin’ hot babes (hey, it’s my blog)!
So that’s the line up. Each of the above businesses will contribute a prize to the winner of our contest. Intrigued? I’ll tell you more early next week when the elves are ready to launch it. But here’s a hint to get you prepared–if you have a pitiful, embarrassing, naked window in your house, tell it to smile big and say “cheese!”
